Weekends just fly by when you're having fun, don't they? This weekend we took Saturday to clean up around the house, de-clutter and organize. (Fun, right?) But then, we decided Sunday was going to be OUR day. We took Kenzie and my parents to Disneyland California Adventure. Which was Kenzie's 4th time at Disneyland, but First time at CA Adventure.
We started off the day at Starbucks and got kenzie what's called a Babyccino (Which is
simply extra-foamy milk—like a cappuccino, but without the espresso.) She loved it!
Once we got to Disney CA Adventure I made sure to book our first Fastpass right away. (Which you can now do from the Disneyland app!)
We took her on Monsters Inc., Ariel, and Toy story, and then my husband, dad and I went on Soaring, the Incredicoaster, and Guardians of the Galaxy!
It is SO fun to see the magic
of Disney through her eyes. My husband and I used to have annual passes
years before we had Kenzie, but it's a whole different experience with
her!
Also if you've never tried the Michelada, you need to. It has beer, tomato juice, hot sauce, fresh lime juice and Tajín.
It was a fun-filled day that ended with dinner at my favorite Downtown Disney restaurant, Naples. If you've never been, you definitely need to make a reservation for lunch or dinner there. It's located in Downtown Disney, so even if you don't go into Disneyland, you can still dine here. It is a little more pricey side- Plan to spend about $25-30 per person. They offer amazing pizzas, pasta, salad, chicken, salmon, and other fun dishes. I recommend the pizza and lasagna. Very good.

Weekend Recap

If you follow along on instagram or snapchat then you know my weekend was full of baseball games in extreme heat! My brother-in-law was just traded to the Dodgers so I am super excited that we will be able to go to more games since they are closer to home for us!
On Friday evening my husband and I started packing for our big trip coming at the end of the month. I knew that the next few weeks are going to be pretty hectic so I wanted to get a head start on packing. I am not one of those last minute packers. I don't know how people do it! I start to panic just thinking about forgetting something. I did, however, manage to make some cute shirts for Kenz and my niece to wear to games and my mother-in-law made the cutest skirts for the girls! We all got matching blue Nikes too.
Once Saturday came around, my husband woke up and told me his brother missed his flight. Apparently he didn't realize he had to be there an hour before check-in. So they wouldn't let him on the plane. He had to catch another plane later on and ended up showing up to the game after it started. It worked out for us, because we were running around and didn't make it until after the first pitch anyways. We grabbed some lunch and drinks before the game and then made our way to the busy stadium. It was literally the hottest day and our seats were in the direct sunlight. Kenzie was getting pretty antsy, so my mother and law and I walked around and cooled off in the shade. Everyone at the stadium was hot and miserable. I mean, sweat was dripping in places it shouldn't. It was pretty bad.
On Sunday we grabbed an early lunch before he had to go to the field, and then we made our way to the hotel to swim and rest. It was another hot day, but not nearly as bad as Saturday. He pitched at the end of the game and did really well! Unfortunately, they still lost but we were excited that he did so well. The two teams play again next weekend at Dodger Stadium so we will be back at it again next weekend. Follow along on my instagram stories or snapchat to see some behind the scenes fun!
Linking up with the lovely Biana sharing my weekend recap.

Wine Country Wedding Weekend
This past weekend hubby, Kenz and I headed out to Wine country to spend the weekend with some friends a day before another friends wedding. The weather was perfect so we relaxed by the pool and ate some good food. Bare with me as I am still in recovering mode.
On Saturday as soon as we got to our friends house we got ready to get in the pool. Kenzie's favorite thing to do is get in the water so we knew she'd be splashing and having a great time! We cooked burgers and spent quality time with everyone.
The next morning we woke up and ordered some breakfast burritos. I knew we had a big day ahead of us because one of my good friends from High School was getting married to someone who is absolutely perfect for her. They actually dated in high school and went their separate ways and then reconnected again and it was just the most perfect day. I got to see a bunch of old friends from high school which was so special. Hubby and I got to the venue early and did some wine tasting before. The Wine Tasting experts (Do they have a name?!) ended up not marking off our punch card each time we tasted, so we ended up getting way more than we paid for which was nice! We really got our money worth but I am definitely feeling it on this beautiful Monday morning (err afternoon).
It was so nice seeing old friends from high school and my cross country group. It's been so long since I've seen some of them! I just love how weddings bring people together. Well, that's pretty much it for this weekends recap, mostly because I can't function like a normal human today, so posts will resume this week once I recover. I guess I can blame it on getting older? I don't even know how to handle a hangover anymore. Am I alone on this? I don't even know...
How was everyone's weekend? I'd love to hear how you spent it!
